Pav Bhaji: Originating in the streets of Mumbai is one of the most popular street food with stalls found in every popular local spot, some serving up into the wee hours. Bhaji, is cooked mixed vegetables, mashed up, infused in a melangé of spices is slathered in butter or cooking oil accompanied with a griddle toasted bun (pav) and a side of chopped onions. It is also available in various local versions throughout India.
