RAVA MAKAI DHOKLA, PUDLAS & STUFFED MASALA MIRCH
Mini Pudlas are pancakes, a Gujarati favorite made with a wide variety of variations, including mixed vegetables and sprouted beans. Rava Makai Dhokla are steamed Semolina and corn cakes usually made with soaking rice and split pigeon peas ground into batter that is fermented for a 8-10 hours and then steamed in batches to make thin cakes. It is eaten for breakfast, main course or just as a snack. This lighter and quick fermentation version is made with semolina. Stuffed seared hot peppers are a healthier take on the traditional fried mirch pakora (fritters).
